A very good overview of baseline Calvinism for someone who is unfamiliar with the doctrines of grace and could be of great benefit to the apologetic efforts of people who already have a good grasp of the five points. Presents Calvinism as an overall framework for biblical interpretation and understanding with reverence for all of God's sacred word rather than only a view of predestination and soteriology.

I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't found in Bible. Bible illustration abound that prove Calvinism. Mans if free but so is God. Free to do what He pleases. Isaiah 46:9-10. Sovereignty is foundational to who God is and His happiness.

This is an outstanding primer/introduction to Tulip. Deals with all the relevant texts and has helpful appendices to deal with difficult questions that arise.

It is the most comprehensive book on how to not only identify a narcissist but the best way to live with one, especially when you can’t leave them. Author merges psychological and scientific research with personal experiences to create a book that helps its readers learn to deal with the complexities of a narcissist. Author even gives an opportunity for readers to take the narcissist questionnaire that psychologists use to determine the extremity of one’s narcissism. I found that the detailed, real life stories of family members or loved one who were narcissists to be extremely helpful. There is such a variety of situations, that it is easy to find a story that is similar to a reader’s own. I highly recommend reading this book if you are looking for answers or a way to address the behavior of a narcissist in your life.

Not sure I am reviewing the same book based on all the five star reviews because there were several grammatical errors making it difficult to understand. I had the feeling I was reading a college research paper; as if the author did some research, compiled information that is readily available, and then presented it as his own without citing sources.

This was a thought-provoking read! I really enjoyed how Theresa approached the subject from a point of view that wasn’t narcissist-bashing, but instead, in a more informative way. The quizzes and real-life case studies add a unique element to the read and prevent it from becoming boring or redundant. In the world today, I feel that this is a highly relatable topic for nearly everyone out there. I recommend purchasing this book!

This book is very informative about narcissism. It goes into details about the characteristics of narcissism, and how to handle people of different levels of those characteristics. I enjoyed how it tells of the fact that most of us as humans show these different characteristics and the importance of understanding them. What an amazing read!

I appreciate this book.

I read in this book how to get a handle on the narcissist's hurtful methods, and that their attitude toward you is altogether determined by their largely situated frailties, even self-hatred? It was really interesting to know new information.

I am sorry, but the spelling and grammatical mistakes are so prevalent that its difficult to read. I have never felt as irritated while reading and trying to decipher the exact meaning. The information may be great but I can't work through the many mistakes and poor grammar.. it simply does not flow. This book has evidently not been proof read. I am not going to continue reading it.
