Laura Ingalls Wilder (1867–1957) was born in a log cabin in the Wisconsin woods. Both of my girls love these books!! Great illustrations and edited LHOTP stories

The entire series of My First Little House books are great for younger children. I have always loved Little House and could hardly wait to share it with my daughters. With these books I can start reading to them about Little House when they are toddlers. The illustrations are lovely and the text is simple but descriptive. I would recommend any of this series.

My five year old granddaughter adores this series. Need to buy a few more books to complete the series.

This is one of my 3-year-old’s favorites from the series.

We are trying to buy the entire collection of these "My First Little House" books, this was just another one we didn't have. Good clean stories and my five year old granddaughter just loves them all.

Laura Ingalis is such a wonderful story teller. Makes the story come to life. Makes you want to go back and live there for a time.

Love all these books very fun for kids

I loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder books when I was a kid and now I'm reading them to my grandchildren. I love these illustrated versions. They're perfect for toddlers.

Great book--written for guitar players (not adapted from piano music) and has multiple guitar parts with lots of explanations about alternate tunings and such.

Installed there program TNT 2 and it had Malware slowed and stalled my computer my Malware Killer removed it.But now i ask can i trust Alfred ? Do i buy from Alfred ? Not Happy!

The tabs are great, but I thought that of the two discs, one would be instructional video. They are audio only, and appear to be identical.Guess I need to rely on YouTube for the video

Great collection of classic Stones' songs, and seemingly well tabbed; the discs and their accompanying player software allow quite a bit of tweaking to let you focus on one guitar part or another. The editors have attempted to be quite faithful to the recorded versions of the songs with respect to the musical notation and tabs, so be prepared to open tune your guitar to follow Keith's example! Only drawback is the book doesn't open flat for easy reading from the music stand, otherwise it's great fun!

This play along is very good to learn how Keith Richards works with the alternate tunnings. Just two of these songs are in standart tunning.

WILL OSBORNE and MARY POPE OSBORNE have been married for a number of years and live in northwestern Connecticut with their three dogs, Joey, Mr. Bezo, and Little Bear.   Mary is the author of over one hundred books for children, including novels, picture books, biographies, and retellings of fairy tales and world mythologies. Will has worked for many years in the theater as an actor, director, and playwright. Together he and Mary have coauthored two books of Greek mythology and eight Magic Tree House® Fact Trackers. Will has also written a multimedia planetarium show, Magic Tree House Space Mission, and is cocreator with Randy Courts of Magic Tree House: The Musical, a full-scale Broadway-style family musical based on Christmas in Camelot.   SAL MURDOCCA has illustrated more than 200 children's trade and text books. My 7 year old son is obsessed with the Titanic & his favorite books are Magic Tree House so this was a no brainer for me! He is able to read it on his own for the most part only needed occasional help with a few words. It's the same length as the other MTH books. It has fun facts as well as some good pictures. The Magic Tree House fact Tracker #7: Titanic was a wonderful Christmas gift this year for my 9 year grand-daughter.We all shared watching the actual movie of "The Titanic", and she loved it. Her words were "Awesome".So,.. I sent this to her for Christmas. Mom and Dad said that she loves it, and picks the book up a lot.She took it to school for show and tell. These Magic Tree House books are wonderful.It is so great for children to enjoy reading books,.. and especially this time, after seeing the movie,..she was thrilledto get this for Christmas. A great gift.

This was a gift for a young child fascinated by the Titanic. He loved this book and wil probably be encouraged to go into naval engineering because of it!

From India getting into trouble for making sexual comments about bandmembers, musicians getting their instruments jacked on their way out the club, the "Vampire" after hour clubs in NYC, and even how certain vocalists like Frankie Ruiz lacked the respect of musicians, it is a great expose on the lives and issues Salsa musicians face.Very enjoyable.

This book was a great insight into the world of being a member of a Latin Band. It can be an eye opener to anyone looking to go into the business of music performance. Like everything, there are ups and downs. Chris Washburn does a great job discussing what being a Latin Band member is all about.

As a participant in part of the time that the book focuses on, My hat goes off to Chris. It's probably one of the best examinations of ANY music genre done. Motherland is the story of Fern Schumer Chapman and her mother Edith Westerveld and their trip back to Germany in 1990. Edith Westerveld was 12 years old in 1938 when her parents sent her to the United States to get away from the worsening situation for the Jews of Germany. Her older sister Betty had already been sent to the United States the year before. Edith had never dealt with having to leave her family, but in 1990 she and her daughter made the trip, I think mostly to come to terms with her past and to try and heal from it. I think she also felt the trip would help her relationship with her daughter which had always been difficult. Much of the book is basically an explanation of how the war affected Edith, and as a result, how it continued to affect Fern too. In a way, this was kind of a psychological book, but also a mystery with lots of secrets beneath the surface. I personally love books like this, because reading about the relationship between mother and daughter helps me understand the relationship between myself and my own mother. Sadly, most of Edith's family perished in the Holocaust, but the trip did help the relationship with her daughter and also helped her relationship with her brand new granddaughter. This was definitely a five star book for me, I wish the book was a bit longer.

I believe that this book is a much needed story so that we never forget those lost in the Holocaust and those who survived. I know some survivors and their story needs to continue to be told in fiction and non-fiction. Motherland Beyond the Holocaust is a book which is totally plausible in the history and the relationship of different generations . Leo Bretholz died this week , his mission was to make sure that people never forget and never repeat the history of the Holocaust. Fern Schumer Chapman should be commended for a book of this quality . I will never forget....

This book gives me an understanding of the variety of emotions affecting German people following World War II; and for many years following. My father emigrated in 1923 after serving in World War I for Germany. He never wanted to return to his homeland. From my point of view he struggled with being proud to be German, yet ashamed due to the atrocities committed in World War II. I think many people of German background feel guilt and shame even though they lived in another country at the time or either lived in Germany and did not participate, some putting themselves into denial about the holocaust.

I read this for our book club. It was good, but I have read others that I have enjoyed more. I'm not sure enjoyed is quite the correct word when speaking of the Holocaust. I have read others that have been more intense as far as the way it is written and more detailed with relationships, etc.

Great book. Easy to read and interesting.

I had seen the story of the author's Mother on a tv show called Lost and Found. It touched my heart, so I set out to find the books about this woman.BEAUTIFULLY written story..... Should be a MUST READ in every High School class stuying the Holocaust!

I had begun this book and put it down--to pick it up again was a very good idea. This author has a very readable style. A great book to read if you wantto know about the Holocaust and beyond--just like the title says--it says it all.
